Meet Michelle
Michelle (she/her) is an AHPRA registered acupuncturist, Chinese medicine herbalist, yoga facilitator, feminist and ocean enthusiast. She empowers menstruators to live in flow with their cycles and see a future where women, non-binary, trans-men and people assigned female at birth are taught to feel empowered in their bodies. I believe when we learn to flow with our cyclical nature rather than fight against it, we begin to lead, parent, love and live, better.
I am an AHPRA registered Chinese medicine practitioner (BHSc), reproductive health educator, yoga facilitator and creator of The Period Masterclass. I believe all people that menstruate deserve to be the most thriving, creative and fertile versions of themselves. I work with menstruators to optimise their cycle for better periods, fertility and overall health and wellbeing. My goal is to create a safe space for healing and I am a HAES and trauma informed practitioner. I try my best to be an LGBTQI+ ally, and am always learning more in this area. I understand some people assigned female at birth may not wish to connect with their menstrual cycle and aim to provide holistic healthcare for all people, including people on hormonal therapy, transitioning, and especially for those who have not been seen or heard by other healthcare practitioners.
I promise to meet you exactly where you are, to hear you, see you, and provide a whole-body approach to your health and wellbeing.

MY EDUCATION
My Chinese medicine studies were completed in Melbourne, Australia, and I hold registration with AHPRA and am a registered member of AACMA. I have also completed a hospital internship at the Tzu Chi Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. My studies have also taken me to China and under the guidance of Shifu Li (Five Immortals) I have studied Daoist Medicine, Water Taiji and Daoist Qigong in the mountains of Wudang. I am currently mentored by Kirsten Wolfe, and draw inspiration from many formidable teachers within the Chinese medicine field including Sharon Weizenbaum, Steven Clavey, Randine Lewis and Jane Lyttleton.
I pay my respects to the rich cultural heritage of Chinese medicine and respect my privilege to be studying and practicing an indigenous medicine from a culture that is not my own.
"
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. I pay my respect to elders past, present and emerging. I recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
