Say hello to your new favourite product
To say I am proud of this product is an understatement. I poured my heart into formulating a blend that I felt was nourishing, deeply moisturising and beneficial for the skin that was also light, dewy and feels amazing.
This formula has been created for application in the morning AND evening (just use a couple of extra drops at night) because my primary intention is to SIMPLIFY skincare as much as possible. You can also rest easy knowing 98% of this formula is sourced from organic ingredients.
The oils used in this formula are touted for their anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing and anti-bacterial effects making this a beautiful option for acne prone skin (like mine!)
HOW TO USE SKN
The whole reason I created this product was that I was OBSESSED with so many facial oils on the market but I never felt like I could wear a face oil in the morning. Say hello to your new morning bestie.
My Morning Routine:
1. Cleanse with your favourite non-tox cleanser like this one from Earth Bud
2. Mist or tone with your favourite tox-free product
3. OPTIONAL: Apply Hyaluronic acid or serum
4. Apply SKN Face Oil by dropping a few drops into the palm of your hand, warming the oil up between your palms, then padding onto the face
SKN is my new favourite skincare product. I love that I can use it in the morning and evening without it looking like I’m wearing an oil. It’s lightweight enough to wear under makeup, but doesn’t compromise on moisture so works overnight. I am obsessed.

INGREDIENTS
Jojoba Oil
As the first product I’ve released, I wanted to ensure SKN was suitable for most skin types. Enter jojoba oil – it is known to balance oily skin, soothe sensitive skin and be hydrating for drier skin types. I love it for it’s anti-inflammatory properties.
Rosehip Oil
Touted for its anti-inflammatory benefits, Rosehip oil is one of the chief ingredients in this formula. I have firsthand experienced the benefits of using rosehip to calm redness from acne, and I knew when formulating this oil that Rosehip would play a leading role.
Argan Oil
I fell in love with Argan oil on my first trip to Morocco – I included Argan in this formula because of its light, dry finish that leaves you with a barely-there gloss. It’s an important part of my connection to Arab culture.
Sweet Almond
I wanted to create an oil to support my acne scars & pigmentation which is why organic sweet almond oil is included in this formula. Not only does it support acne scars & sun-damaged skin, it is also reduces oxidative stress. The secret? Sweet almond oil is abundant in Vitamin E.
Hemp Oil
I tell people this is the secret ingredient to this formulation. I LOVE the dry & light nature of hemp oil and it’s ability to deeply moisturise without feeling too heavy.
Olive Squalane
Despite being known for it’s ability to support other oils, olive squalane is so much more than just a supporting act! I love olive squalane for it’s ability to enhance skin elasticity & exhude a youthful glow.
Rosemary Seed Extract
As an antioxidant, rosemary seed extract also has a calming effect on the skin.
Frankincense Essential Oil
I fell in love with Frankincense during my years living in the Middle East. It immediately transports me back to that time. I fell even more in love with the herb through my Chinese medicine studies as we use the herb medicinally for its ability to invigorate blood & move qi.
Rose Asbolute
Another herb I fell in love with in the Middle East that has followed me into my journey of Chinese medicine is rose. In Chinese medicine pinyin it is named “mei gui hua”. Not only does it give this formula a beautiful scent, it’s smell will help to promote the movement of qi and circulation.
